Just switch it off
Stereo systems, VCRs, TVs and other electronic entertainment equipment are often left in standby mode, consuming unnecessary electricity. The devices still use electricity, even though they are switched off. For example, a television left in standby mode can increase your annual electricity bill by 20 euros. Turn to the right temperature
It is usually a waste of energy to turn the heating on full in every room.
