Natural gas tariff - domestic customers
Our standard natural gas tariffs are ideal for domestic customers who use natural gas for cooking, heating and/or for generating hot water and who consume up to 7,798 kWh/year. The standard tariffs provide natural gas at fair prices and allow you to remain flexible. You will be automatically supplied according to our standard tariffs if you use natural gas in the RheinEnergie network area and have not agreed a special contract with us.
If you consume more than 7,799 kWh/year, we recommend our full supply contract (GNOV).

Please note the following when converting from m3 to kWh:
The natural gas price consists of a unit charge and a monthly standing charge. The unit charge is calculated for the amount of energy supplied. This is used to develop factors in the individual supply areas for conversion from m3 (volumetric measurement) to kWh (thermal settlement). These are based on average operating conditions: Gas pressure peff 22 mbar, gas temperature 15°C and a calorific value of Ho,n 10.30 kWh/m3. Depending on the supply area, the average air pressure is variable, resulting in a variable heat quantity per m3. The relevant conversion factor for your supply area is specified on your annual bill.
